I've always loved the shiny surface, tubular shape and circular handles of these clips that artists use to attach drawing paper to a board. They have a powerful grip and a nice snap when they lock into place. Mostly they remind me of wonderfully long drawing sessions, some of my favorite times.

It amazes me to see how blind I am to the common objects that are around me. Your painting of the clip reminds me of those I used in art class to hold the paper to my drawing board. I love having my eyes pried open. Thank you for the wake-up call.
