I seem to be in a green and red-pink frame of mind. As soon as I had finished the previous lime painting (with decorated saucer) I started this one. There seems to be some advantage to keeping going with the same subject and color scheme. My hope is that since I'm familiar with the objects, they won't have quite the same allure as real things. Their appeal is now more as shapes, as abstractions. Anyway, I loved this one. The colors are pretty but I think the slightly abstract quality of the forms negates some of the sweetness. Hopefully!
