Copper's very difficult to paint, but I like the way this little painting turned out. Right now I'm trying to create a series of small paintings that have something in common. I'm not quite sure what that common element is - maybe it's the fruit wedges, maybe the close-up view or perhaps a looser painting style. But I'll know after a few more paintings.

I love this one, so lovely and loose, something I strive for and never achieve! I like all the changing colours on the table surface, another master piece.
