Clearly I love Picasso and thought it would be fun to try painting in his style, or one of his many painting explorations that with time were described as a style. I love his use of lines and his portraits of women. Hence this piece that I drew over an abstract painting on paper. This one is small but I'd love to do another version 3 or 4 times the size on canvas rather than paper!

I have followed your work for years on the Daily Painters site, and have always admired your effective use of distortion and your wonderful colors. I LOVE this! Hope you'll do more in this vein.
I truly appreciate your encouragement to keep going in this new direction, Leslie. Thank you for following my art all this time. Your words inspire me, thank you!
This is such a new direction for you. Your talent never ceases to amaze me! A true Picasso you are😀

Very nice paint Marie. My elder brother too does painting but he has neither taken training from anybody nor gone to any university for learning.
